Happy Noblesse Oblige, O Selfless Aristocrats,

Reader Reply of the Week: Thanks to Elsa Woodaman from adjective-rich Richmond, Virginia. "It sounds like you suffered from the same adjective scarcity as the geniuses who named the Grand Canyon!" Well said, Elsa!

As we rehydrate after emerging from the Great Western Adjective Deserts, and as staff prepares for Version
IV.VI of our Hmm Let’s Think It Over Tour of America, we pause to recall the original mission: whether or not to throw our hat (and cape) into the presidential sweepstakes.

Five thousand miles later, we are looking for signs to inform this decision. We did find some signs and are now considering what, if anything, anything means. Some things tend to mean certain things, but are subject to interpretation. We could use some help here but most people are too wrapped up in their own aristocracy. Good thing you’re not. Thanks in advance. For the help. (Staff positions have opened up recently.) (Send a resume! We do not vet for accuracy.)
If you're looking for a lane in which to run,
consider the Slow But Specific lane.

This might be the best campaign slogan.
(*See PS Below)

A cautionary tale of too many options!

One Way = Wrong Way

If you can't follow the rules, you shouldn't run.
OR
If you always follow the rules, you shouldn't run.

Candidates: Beware of Knee-jerk Emotions!

Whatever you do, do it this way. Cool.

Sign No Sign
In Conclusion, we would like to reach a conclusion. We would settle for a denouement, or even a culmination. But as the looming press deadline sinks its incisors into our medulla oblongata, we succumb to dizziness. The signs are spinning into each other. It’s a whirligig.
Wikipedia Friday Favorite:
In honor of the intersection of curiosity and logarithmically expanding human knowledge, we offer two weekly favorite obscure Wikipedia pages.

Fictionary Friday
: Words You Need. Whether you know it or not.
Cantidate (cann tid ate) Noun:  Running for office because you want to spend less time with your family.

Fizzdom Friday: from our collection of favorite quotes:

"The most certain sign of wisdom is cheerfulness."
– Michel de Montaigne

Write if you (do) or (do not) twist the signs of the times.

Yours at the intersection of One Way or the Other Way,
Jonathan
