Happy HooDoos*, Extraterrestrials!

Part II of our Hmm Let’s Think It Over Tour of America commenced with a whiz-bang solution to the eternal question of what to do when you run out of pink paint.
Nothing Bland About Pink in Blanding, Utah

Obviously, we were inspired to investigate Pinkos in America, and found that the geologic layers run deep.

Her and Him Hoo Doos*
* Wikipedia Friday Favorite:
In honor of the intersection of curiosity and logarithmically expanding human knowledge, we offer a weekly favorite obscure Wikipedia page.
Obviously, the Hoo Doos inspired our brilliant idea on how to remedy the problem of our ecosystem becoming our EEEK-OH system: Call on the aliens to rescue the planet! Genius, I tell you!

Clearly, they've been here before.
They looked like this on their previous visit. Here's proof.
We found them in Capital Reef National Park.
So, in our moment of need (Amazon burning, methane bull-fart relaxation, and general Earth Mother violations too numerous to mention), with mute patriotic grief we reached out to the Aliens once again. If they were kind enough to evacuate the Anasazi, surely they can come through for nice people like us. Pretty Please.

We went to the source.

They responded.
They have a lot to unravel.
Fictionary Friday: Words You Need. Whether you know it or not.
Geogrami (jee ogg ram mee) Noun:   The art of re-folding maps.
In a sentence:  We would have found the Aliens a lot sooner if our leader wasn't so fussy about geogrami.

Fizzdom Friday: from our collection of favorite quotes:
"Creation is ongoing."  - Lakota Proverb

and

"Mr. Big Shot, [Hoo Doo] you think you are?"
- Jean Knight, from the song

Write if you (do) or (do not) dig pink.

Yours in the strata-sphere,
Jonathan
