Happy Embouchure, Fellow Oboists,

Staff has fielded way more than one call this week demanding that we throw our hat (and cape for chrissakes) into the presidential sweepstakes. Such a hue and cry we cannot in good patriotic conscience ignore! So we—all of us, management, staff and hounds—piled into the corporate jitney for our official Hmm Let’s Think It Over Tour of America, Part One.

If you break it down by weight, America is so much more than people. We have rocks and grass and used cars with moderate body damage and dirt and old buildings and space and noise and quiet and of course microbes. So our Hmm Let’s Think It Over Tour is more of a Big Howdy to the General Substrate than it is your ordinary glad-handing bustle through Iowa.
Beautiful Downtown Staunton, Virginia. It’s pronounced Stanton.
The birthplace of dead musicians and Woodrow Wilson, too.

"Demolition Derby is a motorsport usually presented at county fairs and festivals.
While rules vary from event to event, the typical Demolition Derby event consists of five or more
drivers competing by deliberately ramming their vehicles into one another."

In a sentence: The Full Bright doctoral thesis explored by autobond candidate Miles MacAdam concluded that all roads lead to somewhere else.

Fizzdom Friday: from our collection of favorite quotes.
"Looking at life from a different perspective makes you realize that it’s not the deer that is crossing the road, rather, it’s the road that is crossing the forest. "
