Happy Lurking, Fellow Shadowlanders,

Yes, it’s the season of the long, chilly, crazy-on-stilts, blue-dark shadow. Out yonder, they say the blue shadows drive even big ole bears to curl up and nap the blues away until everything greens up in the spring.

Thanks to Observer of Week, Rose Marcus, live on the scene, stalking the cool blue mystery in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.

Savvy shadow-lurkers prep for the blue season by first validating location. You have to know if you are here.
You Are Here
Millions of Flossophy Readers will probably panic because they don’t know where in the hell they are. They could be trapped in a long blue shadow for all we know. Therefore, we are calling on all readers (we know who you are)(or are not) to step out of the shadow and submit more You Are Here images.

In other place-sensitive news, we are both happy and a little grossed out to update the community right here in Richmond on the Possumpalooza, chronicled in the July 19 Flossophy.

It all culminated in an interesting Possum Themed Evening, as promised! The stew (or was it soup?) was less bad than anyone thought it would be, but then again, nobody tasted it.

Thanks to Elsa Woodaman,
you, too, can play possum!
